DRIVERS are realising a popular viral cleaning product may also have the ability to fix up their cars’ scratches.
Mrs Hinch’s The Pink Stuff paste is known for its ability to clean a wide range of stains and surfaces.

The claims prompted one woman to make a TikTok video testing out if it could easily clear up her car’s exterior scratches.
In the clip, she’s shown wiping and swirling the paste onto her car several times before the scratches become less noticeable.
“Look at that,” she said.
“We’re going to do it one more time to see if we can get everything off and…that looks a lot better.”
She explained using a microfiber wash cloth and the soft side prevented the product from leaving scratches.
However, some cleaners were quick to warn against the product’s use on cars in the comments.
“Don’t use this on your car, I dulled the paint on my car and you can tell I wiped something on it,” the woman wrote.
” I don’t recommend using this or trying it.”
Another user said the product was unable to fix up her car’s exterior in a viral video.
The day after the trial, she found a “whole bunch of circular, powdered doughnut” marks on her car.
“I had a whole attitude because I literally used The Pink Stuff on everything. When I say I put that on everything, I put that on everything,” she said.
“So I just thought for sure this was gonna work on my car.
“I’m so mad. Don’t do it. Just don’t do it on your car.”
The product makes no mention of being able to get rid of scrapes or being able to use it on cars.
The Pink Stuff lauds itself as a tough cleaning paste that’s gentle on surfaces but tough on stains.
It’s said to be best used for cleaning saucepans, barbecues, rust, sinks, garden furniture, paintwork and boats.
