Driver reveals trick for not getting a parking fine but people aren’t convinced

A DRIVER has shared a trick on social media to avoid parking tickets, but not everyone is convinced that it works.

The video was uploaded to TikTok by @hustla.official and has hit thousands of views in just one day.

The car owner shows how he puts an old ticket on his car to avoid being fined again when parking illegally.

He then says that the trick has worked several times for him.

He believes this technique will confuse the traffic warden – but some TikTok users think otherwise.

One person said: “I tried that but, still got a fine.”

Another man revealed that he has tried this several times and they slapped him with another ticket.

Another commented: “My council is so broke that they will still continue to give you tickets.”

However, some users believe it is a very clever idea to avoid fines.

Drivers usually have 28 days to pay parking fines but in some cases, a 50% discount is applied if it is paid within 14 days.

Parking fines vary depending on where you live but usually range from £80 to £130, depending on the offence.

Drivers can get also have penalty points put on their licence for leaving their vehicle in a dangerous position.
