Traffic cops pulled over a Mercedes driver on the M60 after they caught him ‘hogging’ the middle lane at 49mph.
Upon being stopped by police, near Barton, just after 8pm last night (February 12), the driver is said to have told officers that he “didn’t want to use the slow lane or the fast lane”.
In a post on Twitter, the Traffic division of Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said that the left-hand lane was completely clear.

The driver was issued with a traffic offence report, a GMP Traffic spokesman confirmed.
@GMPTraffic tweeted: “This Mercedes was seen by #ME54 to join the M60 & move straight out into the middle lane, lane 1 being completely clear.”
“Continued to hog the middle lane at 49mph for 1 junc!
