Donald Trump’s hair explained by his former stylist
Former president Donald Trump landed in Scotland to open a new golf course near Aberdeen this morning, joined by his son Eric.
As he stepped off his jet, a blast of wind blew the 76-year-old’s hair around his face.
Many Twitter users made the same comments about the billionaire’s hair. One Gary Page quipped: “His hairpiece is trying to escape.”
Another joked: “Hope y’barnet is safely glued on there Donny…it’s windy.”
How exactly does Trump achieve his famously coiffed style and does he wear a hairpiece, or have hair plugs?

Trump has discussed his famous hair on a few occasions. In 2015 he joked about suspicions he wore hairpieces. He told a crowd in Alabama: “If it rains, I’ll take off my hat, and I’ll prove once and for all that it’s mine.”
Many hair experts have discussed the former president’s long, blonde hair, weighing in with their own professional opinions.
It seems most agree Trump has not hair hair plugs, but he achieves his style with extensive combing.
Award-winning celebrity hair stylist Matthew Curtis told Gentleman’s Journal: “It’s definitely a strange creation – but it’s also a bafflingly cleverly crafted structure.”
He added: “I’d call it a back-to-front mullet with a new romantic fringe.”
In 2016 Trump’s former hair stylist, who worked with him on the set of The Apprentice, claimed the businessman is very particular about his hair.
She also dispelled any rumours the reality TV star was wearing any hair pieces or had plugs, at least at that time.
She told The Mirror: “He has really long hair and he combs it back straight. He does it himself. It is real and it is his hair – he doesn’t have plugs.”
According to the stylist Trump always did his hair himself and wore lots of thick, sticky hairspray to keep it in place.
Lasch also claimed it was likely a family member was doing Trump’s hair for him.
She said: “When I looked at the back of his hair I could tell it was not a hairdresser cutting it. It was scary. It was just cut in a straight line.
“The colour was so inconsistent. It was not done correctly. They just coloured the top and did not colour what was underneath properly.
“It was someone in his inner circle who was cutting and colouring his hair. His wife or maybe his daughter.”
