Domino’s reveals Eurovision pizzas for each country – but it’s not as it seems

DOMINO’S has revealed new unique pizzas designed for each country competing in the Eurovision final tonight – but there’s a catch.

The individual, nation inspired dishes have all been masterminded using AI intelligence.

The UK, a stand-in-host for Ukraine, has been summed up with a Beef roast dinner pizza topping.

It is also served with potatoes drenched in gravy and drizzled with horseradish sauce.

Tonight, Mae Muller will be singing her hit I Wrote A Song to represent Britain – despite being placed on vocal rest in the days leading up to the spectacle.

France, represented by La Zarra in the contest, has been given a classic Coq au Vin braised chicken, with diced potatoes and rosemary garnish.

La Zarra will be performing the song Évidemment tonight, which was officially released on February 19, 2023.

Germany have also made it to The Grand Final, and rewarded by Domino’s with Bratwurst sausage toppings loaded over chips, covered with ketchup and mayonnaise.

The country are hoping to win with their entry Lord Of The Lost, a five-piece band singing Blood & Glitter.

For Italy, the popular pizza brand have crafted a Carbonara pasta topping, with pepperoni slices.

Marco Mengoni will be representing Italy at this year’s Eurovision contest.

Mengoni is a singer-songwriter born on December 25, 1988, in Ronciglione, a comune in Viterbo, Italy.

Paella with clams, prawns and a dash of spring onion, has been dedicated to Spain.

The country will hope to see Blanca Paloma Ramos Baeza, a singer, set designer and costume designer win the competition tonight.

A sixth finalist, Sweden, has been created a Fish themed pizza topping served with sliced tomatoes, chopped radishes and onions.

Artist Loreen is performing a song called Tattoo at the song contest for the nation.

The song was written by Thomas G:son and Peter Boström, who also wrote her past hit Euphoria, amongst other songwriters.

Domino’s opted for a Chicken Kyiv dish for Ukraine, last year’s winners, flavoured with lemon and dill.

Tvorchi are Ukraine’s representatives for the competition this year, hoping to make it another win for the country after last year’s success.

Meanwhile Australia – in Eurovision since 2015 – has Fairy Bread, an old-fashioned Aussie snack made from white bread, butter and ‘hundreds and thousands’ sprinkles.

A Domino’s spokesperson said: “With Eurovision being one of the busiest nights of the year for Domino’s, the nation’s favourite pizza brand, has cooked up a treat for the senses.

“By challenging AI to imagine what a limited-edition pizza for all the favourite competing countries would look like.

“Domino’s set AI system MidJourney to work, curating completely unedited Eurovision inspired pizza toppings for The Big Five countries and a few other nations.

“Passing the reins to AI, pizzas generated varied from a somewhat delicious looking Roast Dinner, to Carbonara and a clam and prawn loaded Paella pizza.

“Signature dishes were also generated for host nation Ukraine in the form of Chicken Kyiv pizza.

“And Australia, to see what the country who has competed in the competition since 2015 – to everyone’s bewilderment – would serve up.

“And it’s Fairy Bread pizza.

“A country and party staple of bread spread with margarine and covered in hundreds and thousands.”

Sam Wilson, AI mastermind at Domino’s said: “Pizza brings everyone together, just like Eurovision.

“So we challenged AI to generate the perfect pizza for each nation. It’s no surprise the classic Sunday Roast was Britain’s pizza of choice, but we didn’t expect Fairy Bread for Australia.

“We’re rooting for Mae Muller this weekend and look forward to seeing her waving the flag for the UK.

“But we won’t be giving AI a role in our kitchen just yet.”
