Disha Patani reveals that she was a tomboy growing up and no one found her attractive
The millennial star of Bollywood, Disha Patani turns a year older today. The actor has several times revealed in interviews that she grew up an introvert. She opened up about being a tomboy and straying away from the constructs of beauty. She also added that no guy had come up to her and called her hot while she grew up.
In an interview, she also opened up about the equation she shares with Salman Khan. The two actors have worked together in Bharat and Radhe. Commenting on Salman Khan, she said that he is a ‘family-oriented person’.
Disha Patani said that while growing up no guy had approached her and said they found her attractive. She also added that no one flirted with her or even tried. She said that growing up she had never been approached. The actor further confessed that she was a tomboy growing up as her father had raised her like a boy. Disha wore short hair till the ninth grade and was an introvert and a quiet student who confined herself to the last bench.
In the interview, Disha learned that Salman Khan had called her pretty and hardworking. To this, she joked about why more people do not compliment her as Salman does. She also added that it was very sweet of Salman Khan to say that. She also added that he was kind, helping, and family-oriented. Recalling an instance from their shoots together, she added that the actor would get food from his home and feed everyone.
On the work front, Patani will star next in Ek Villain Returns and Yodha.
