Kapamilya actress Dimples Romana took to her Instagram Stories to thank people who celebrated with their family the baptism and first birthday of her youngest child, Elio.
Elio’s baptism and first birthday party, both held on Sunday, were attended by “The Iron Heart” star’s family and friends, among them actresses Andrea Brillantes, Charlie Dizon, and Belle Mariano, who were chosen to be among the tot’s godparents.
Romana, on her Instagram Stories, told Mariano, “Ninaaaang (godmother), you were extra fave today [smiling face with three hearts emoji].”

“Magandang Buhay” hosts Jolina Magdangal-Escueta, Regine Velasquez-Alcasid, and Melai Cantiveros-Francisco are also godmothers of Elio. The trio were personally asked by Romana to be her youngest child’s godmothers during an episode of the talk show last year.
Romana gave a shout-out to the Escueta family on her Instagram Stories, sharing a snap with the family of four — Magdangal-Escueta came with husband Mark and children Pele and Vika — and a message that says, “So much love for this faaam @mariajolina_ig[.] [N]apakabongga at cute ng mga kasuotan para sa selebrasyon.” (The outfits for the celebration are super fabulous and cute.)
“Ninaaang, we love you and kuya @markescueta, pele and vikaaaa [smiling face with three hearts emoji] [teary-eyed face emoji],” Romana told the family.

Some of Elio’s godfathers are “An Inconvenient Love” actor Adrian Lindayag, Romana’s brother and “Pinoy Big Brother” alum Bam Romana, and Dreamscape Entertainment executive Deo Endrinal, who Romana shared was the first to arrive at the baptism’s venue.

Elio’s birthday party revolved around the Filipino fiesta theme, which was reflected in the decorations found around the venue — from the colorful banderitas to the life-size farm animal props. The party also served Filipino food, had the guests play bingo, and even featured a marching band, for which Romana thanked film and TV director Lino Cayetano.
The host family and guests were even dressed in traditional Filipino attires of kamisa and chinos.

Prior to the birthday celebration, the actress, in an Instagram post — uploaded on June 23 — revealed that her eldest Callie was able to return to the Philippines “to complete the family tonight, in time for singing our first ever birthday song for our dear bunso (youngest) #ElioJuanManolo [teary-eyed face emojis].” The 19-year-old decided to pursue her college education in Australia to study aviation management.
Aside from Callie and Elio, Romana and Ahmee have another son, Alonzo who turned eight last February. Earlier this month, the couple also celebrated their 20th anniversary. EDV
