Amitabh Bachchan doesn’t age, he just gets better and better with every passing year. Last evening, filmmaker Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra shared an interesting anecdote about the legendary actor.
Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra recently launched his book. In this book he has shared several anecdotes from his films – right from Aks, Rang De Basanti, Delhi 6, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag to Toofan. The director even has some prominent names talking about him and sharing their experience about working with him. Last evening when Mr Mehra shared a reel on Instagram, he gave a sneak-peek to a quote by Big B. In this quote Mr Bachchan reveals that it was the director who asked him to keep a French beard for the filmmaker’s debut film Aks. The dark thriller was way ahead of its times and Big B agreed to grow that sexy beard and guess what, he never shaved it off.
Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra even captioned the reel as, “Can a debut director ask for a more legendary initiation onto the big screen? Thank you @amitabhbachchan.” Now isn’t that really sweet. The director’s book is called Strangers In The Mirror and we are totally loving these small anecdotes.
