A post has gone viral on Twitter after a man claimed that he was fired after designing the company’s new logo and he was looking for a job.
In a matter of 14 hours, the tweet has been viewed by over 12 million people. On his Twitter account, the user named Alex Cohen said, “I was laid off from Twitter today. I was the designer in charge of our new rebranding to X. I learned so much in my 2.5 weeks at the company but I’m excited to see where I land next. If you’re hiring a self taught, junior designer please DM me. Graphic design is my passion!”
For a moment, everybody who comes across the tweet believes that he has been fired. However, taking a look at his profile and his follow-up tweets, it becomes clear that it is not true and he was just having a fun time around.
As many people started sending him direct messages (DMs), he posted a tweet with four photos that shows the kind of design that he does. The comic post too has gone viral.

Netizens too added humour to the situation with comments. “Mind blowing stuff. A talent this revolutionary comes but once every several generations, if we’re lucky,” a user said.
“Comic Sans and Papyrus. The ultimate typeface power ballad,” secone user said.
“Couldn’t stop laughing at that Dr. Phil picture,” the third user said.
“I bet Midjourney couldn’t pull these off. A Windows 95 dev shop would be foolish to pass you by,” a netizen added.

Twitter boss Elon Musk has unveiled a new black and white “X” logo to replace Twitter’s famous blue bird as he follows through with a major rebranding of the social media platform he bought for USD 44 billion last year.
Musk replaced his own Twitter icon with a white X on a black background and posted a picture on Monday of the design projected on Twitter’s San Francisco headquarters. The X started appearing on the top of the desktop version of Twitter on Monday, but the bird was still dominant across the phone app.
Musk had asked fans for logo ideas and chose one, which he described as minimalist Art Deco, saying it “certainly will be refined.” “And soon we shall bid adieu to the twitter brand and, gradually, all the birds,” Musk tweeted on Sunday.
