Diablo 4 Patch 1.1.1 to Buff Barbs and Sorcerers, Strongly Reduce Respec Costs and Add Free Stash Tab

During today’s devs campfire chat, the team talked about this week’s 1.1.0 update and the upcoming Diablo 4 patch 1.1.1.

Earlier this week, Blizzard released the 1.1.0 patch ahead of Season of the Malignant, which officially kicked off yesterday. Alongside the start of the season, the team released another update, patch 1.1.0b to ‘battle’ some of the changes included with the 1.1.0 update. It’s safe to say that the Diablo community isn’t pleased with the changes that Blizzard has made with the most recent patches with some even boycotting the game until the team reverts the major nerfs to basically all classes. During today’s campfire chat, the developers talked about the discussion regarding patch 1.1.0. Also, they provided details about the planned 1.1.1 patch, which should be released in the next couple of weeks.

One of the changes that the team will implement with the upcoming patch is one that will be welcomed by all players, more notably those playing more than one character – a free stash tab for every character. This should, at least, help out players with additional storage, especially now that Malignant hearts will also need to be stored.

Patch 1.1.1 will also pack greatly reduced respect costs. As mentioned by the developers, patch 1.1.1 will reduce respec costs by 40%. In addition, experience between level 50 and level 100 will be adjusted in order to make leveling easier for those in that level range.

The update will also offer buffs for Barbarians and Sorcerers in patch 1.1.1. According to the team, these buffs will be the primary focus of the patch.

As said, patch 1.1.1 is expected to be released in the next couple of weeks, and more updates are being planned before the arrival of season 2. Let’s hope that these upcoming changes will address some of the community concerns after the arrival of the 1.1.0 patch.

Diablo 4 is available globally now for PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and Xbox One.
