Foodies seeking a deal are often relegated to late-afternoon happy hour specials, but those who can’t get out on the town early should add Postino Winecafe — which boasts five locations along the Front Range — to their bucket lists.
On Mondays and Tuesdays, the wine-and-tapas joint offers patrons a bottle of vino and a bruschetta board for $25 – a steal of a deal that will fill two people up while leaving some extra pocket change for other sharable appetizers like olives and crispy cauliflower. The special runs from 8 p.m. to closing on both nights.
I stumbled onto this deal accidentally one night when walking hungrily down Broadway and expecting to have to settle for fast food. Instead, I was delighted to find something delicious designed to satisfy night owls.
Better still, this deal is not one-size-fits-all. Postino allows guests to choose four different bruschetta flavors to pair with wines from a select menu. Popular combinations include brie, apple and fig spread; sweet-and-spicy pepper jam plus goat cheese; and burrata, bacon, arugula and tomato. Seasonal bruschetta toppings are also eligible to add to your board as part of this deal.
The bottle-and-board deal is available at all Postino restaurants in Boulder, Denver and Highlands Ranch.
Visit Postino at 830 Colorado Blvd., Denver; 1468 Pearl St., Suite 110, Boulder; 145 N. Broadway, Denver; 2715 17th St., Denver; and 1497 Park Central Drive, Highlands Ranch.
