Denise Van Outen’s ex Eddie Boxshall admits losing ‘over a stone’ amid ‘stress’ of breakup

Denise Van Outen, 47, announced her split from her Celebrity Gogglebox partner Eddie Boxshall, 47, last month after seven years together. Eddie has revealed since the split he has lost over a stone in weight due to “stress and anxiety”, along with feeling “sluggish and crap” most of the time.

Eddie has posted a string of Instagram posts, giving followers an insight to how he is coping after his very public split.

He claimed he has lost step, and struggled with “stress and anxiety”, leaving him feeling very “sluggish and crap”.

In his most recent Instagram post, working out at the gym, he penned in view of his 66,900 followers: “Never got much sleep last night as the brain was working overtime with life in general.

“Felt sluggish and crap this morning but told myself to get up and at’em!!

“I will always treasure the good times we spent together, and the memories made.

“We ask that you please respect our privacy at this time, especially for our children.”

Speaking on their joint podcast, Before We Say I Do in February last year, Denise revealed she was “not giving enough” to their relationship and flirted more with those at work.

She said: “I’m very aware of me putting us in ­situations where I’m not giving enough.
