Alienware Aurora R15 RTX 4080 PC for $2499.99
Includes Diablo IV game
The full specs include a Cryo-Tech liquid cooled Intel Core i7-13700KF CPU, GeForce RTX 4080 GPU, 16GB of DDR5-4800MHz RAM, and 1TB SSD. The R15 is the newest flagship model in the Alienware Aurora lineup. It’s the only Alienware desktop model that’s equipped with an Intel Raptor Lake CPU and GeForce 40 series GPU (the R14 and older generations are limited to 12th gen Intel CPUs and RTX 30 series GPUs). This time around Alienware seriously beefed up the cooling. This R15 is equipped with a 240mm all-in-one liquid cooler for the CPU, as well as three more 120mm system fans. The Cryo-Tech edition offers even better thermal performance and a swankier RGB-lit design
The Intel Core i7-13700KF is an impressive CPU featuring a turbo boosted clock speed of 5.4Hz with 16 cores, 24 threads, and 54MB of total cache. It easily holds its own against AMD’s newest Ryzen 7 7700X CPU. It’s one of the best gaming CPUs you can get right now.
The RTX 4080 is the second most powerful card on the market. On the AMD front, only the Radeon RX 7900 XTX can keep up (and that’s if you ignore DLSS and ray tracing). It’s much more powerful than previous generation cards, performing about 50% faster than an RTX 3080 Ti. It also supports DLSS 3.0 (DLSS 2.0 + frame generation), something the RTX 30 series lacks, and that increases the performance gap for games that support it. It’s actually only 20%-30% slower than the RTX 4090 while costing hundreds of dollars less. If you’re not convinced, check out our RTX 4080 review.
