NEW DELHI: The nursery admission registration process for schools in Delhi has begun for the academic year 2023-24. The Directorate of Education (DoE) is overseeing the admission process for entry classes — Nursery, KG and Class 1 in Delhi govt schools.
As per the Delhi government guidelines for nursery admission, the parents are required to collect the nursery admission forms from the concerned Sarvodaya Vidyalayas.
The nursery admission process for private schools has already concluded.
The registration process for nursery admission will continue until March 15, 2023. Parents can register their children for nursery admission online by visiting the official website of the Directorate of Education, Delhi. The list of incomplete application forms will be released on March 18, 2023, while corrections in the form, if any, can be made on March 20 and 21, 2023. The admission list will be released on March 24, 2023

The admission process for nursery classes in Delhi will be conducted in two rounds. The first round of admission will begin on 15th March 2023 and will continue until 22nd March 2023. The second round of admission will begin on 1st April 2023 and will continue until 7th April 2023. The admission process will be conducted through a computerized lottery system.
Parents are required to fill in the registration form with accurate details of their children and submit it to the concerned school or online. The registration fee for nursery admission in Delhi is Rs. 25. The schools will release the list of selected candidates on their notice boards as well as on the official website of the Directorate of Education, Delhi.
