NEW DELHI: Directorate of Education (DoE) is scheduled to release the Delhi Nursery Admission 2023 first merit list today i.e., January 20, 2023. Students and parents will be able to check the first list of shortlisted students for admission to entry-level classes on the notice board of the respective schools or visit the official website of DoE – edudel.nic.in.
The names along with a waiting list will be released on the notice board, as well as the official website of the schools, the DoE said on Thursday. The second merit list of shortlisted students for nursery admission in Delhi will be issued on February 06, 2023.
The registration process for admission to entry-level classes in over 1,800 private schools in Delhi for the 2023-24 session had commenced on December 01, 2022 and closed on December 23, 2022.
“No deviation from the above schedule shall be permitted. Each school shall display the aforesaid admission schedule on its notice board and website. Further, each school shall ensure that application forms for admission are made available to all applicants till the last date of submission,” the circular issued by DoE had said.
According to the DoE circular, all private schools will reserve 25% seats for students belonging to economically weaker sections (EWS) and disadvantaged group (DG) as well as for differently-abled children.
