Delhi Nursery Admission 2023: First merit list to be released on Jan 20 – Times of India

NEW DELHI: As per the Directorate of Education schedule, the schools in Delhi will release Nursery Admissions 2023 first merit list on January 20, 2023.
The Delhi Nursery Admission First Merit List 2023 will be based on the points earned by a candidate as per the criteria laid by the individual school. The merit list will be released on the official websites of the schools as well as on their notice boards at their premises.
From January 21 to 30, 2023, the schools will answer queries from parents regarding the points allotted to their wards on the school’s criterion. The schools will have a well-documented mechanism for responding to parents’ queries, either through email or letters.
The final selection of students will be based on the merit list and the availability of seats.
The first merit list for nursery admissions in Delhi is usually based on a points system. This system assigns points to various factors such as the distance of the child’s residence from the school, the socio-economic status of the family, and whether the child is a sibling of a current student at the school. The total points are then used to determine the order of the merit list. The children with the highest points are given priority for admission.
Delhi Nursery Admission does not require any test to be conducted for admission.
