Deepika Padukone donates generously to an acid-attack survivor 

Deepika Padukone is always known for her golden gestures and always reaching out to help the ones in need. Recently, Deepika Padukone learnt about her Chhapaak co-star and acid survivor Bala facing some health issues for which she needed monetary help. As soon as Deepika learnt about this, the actress reached out to help her.

According to reports in a leading daily, Deepika Padukone donated Rs 10 lakhs to help Bala. The actress donated the amount to the fundraising campaign ‘Save Bala’ that has been started on a crowdfunding platform. Acid-attack survivor Bala’s health is critical due to failure of both her kidneys and being an acid-attack survivor her immunity is further weakened. The brave one is surviving through dialysis and further needs monetary help to come out of this tragedy. Deepika Padukone’s generous amount will surely be of great help for Bala. Deepika Padukone played an acid-attack survivor in Meghna Gulzar’s Chhapaak in 2020 and won praises for her performance.

Deepika Padukone is currently busy with YRF’s Pathan where she stars with Shah Rukh Khan and will later shoot for Fighter with Hrithik Roshan. She has completed shooting for Shakun Batra’s next film.
