Dead By Daylight’s New Resident Evil Survivor & Killer Have Leaked

A new Dead By Daylight x Resident Evil Chapter has been confirmed by Behaviour Interactive for later this year. The new Chapter, titled ‘Project W’, will include a brand new survivor and killer, both of which appear to have been leaked ahead of schedule.

Dead By Daylight x Resident Evil: Project W is currently slated to release sometime this year, but leaks suggest that the new Chapter will be arriving on PTB servers on August 16th, prior to the official release sometime in September. The new Chapter will include some new cosmetics and a brand new killer and survivor from the hit horror franchise, Resident Evil.

According to Dead By Daylight leaker, DBDLeaks, the upcoming characters to join Dead By Daylight in Chapter 25 will be Albert Wesker and Ada Wong. Images of the new killer and survivor can be seen in the image below, as well as what appears to be their accompanying perks.

The timing of a new Resident Evil Chapter seems appropriate, as Netflix recently aired a brand new series based on the horror franchise. Unfortunately, the new Resident Evil Netflix series didn’t exactly release to rave reviews. Currently, the show has a rating of 3.8 out of 10 stars on IMDB.

But with that being said, Dead By Daylight’s previous Resident Evil Chapter was hugely successful. Chapter 20 introduced two new survivors, Jill Valentine and Leon S. Kennedy, as well as a new killer, Nemesis. Since the release of the Resident Evil Chapter, Dead By Daylight has featured crossovers with the likes of Hellraiser, The Ring (Sadako Rising), and plenty of other original chapters.
