Darwin Nunez ‘intrigued’ by Manchester United move
Darwin Nunez is reportedly ‘intrigued’ by the prospect of working under Erik ten Hag at Manchester United.
The striker is being tipped to leave Benfica for a European big-hitter this summer after his 34-goal haul last year. United have been keeping tabs on Nunez for a while and now Liverpool have also entered the race.
Paris Saint-Germain and Atletico Madrid are among a number of other potential suitors interested. Benfica are said to want in excess of €100million (£85m) for their star man.

While it is uncertain whether United would be prepared to shell out such a hefty amount, they have been boosted by the i’s report that the 22-year-old is ‘intrigued’ by an Old Trafford switch. This comes after Nunez supposedly met with a number of top Premier League clubs regarding a potential switch.
Meanwhile, Feyenoord are open to receiving offers for left-back Tyrell Malacia – a defender Ten Hag has reportedly been keeping tabs on. The Dutch club have already rejected two offers from Lyon but Voetbal International say that doesn’t mean he isn’t for sale.
United are ready to listen to offers for Brandon Williams this summer, and so Ten Hag may look to bring in a replacement, though he does still have Luke Shaw, Alex Telles and Alvaro Fernandez at his disposal.
