The UK’s favourite all-skating, all-dancing reality competition, Dancing on Ice, returns for a scintillating new series tonight.

A dozen new celebrities will soon to the rink to compete in the figure skating series in a bid to win the coveted trophy – which currently belongs to reigning champ Capital Radio DJ Sonny Jay.

Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield once again return as our glamourous hosts, guiding viewers through ITV’s signature skating show.

Here is everything you need to know about the Dancing on Ice launch show.

What time does Dancing on Ice 2022 start?

Dancing on Ice 2022 kicks off tonight at 6.30pm on ITV.

The first episode will run for 1.5 hours, lasting until 8pm.

The series will then run over 10 weeks, with new episodes airing every Sunday on ITV.

Who are the Dancing on Ice 2022 judges?

Diversity star Ashley Banjo will return as a judge, as will figure skating national treasures Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean.

Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer Oti Mabuse will be replacing John Barrowman.

Of the announcement, Oti said: ‘As a professional dancer, I have always had so much respect for the skating professionals on Dancing on Ice. It is an exceptional skill that is also so beautiful to watch.’

Who is in the Dancing on Ice 2022 lineup?

This year’s all-star cast includes stars from Coronation Street, Love Island, and even a smattering of some Olympians.

The 12 celebrity contestants are:

  • Coronation Street’s Sally Dynevor
  • Pussycat Dolls’ Kimberly Wyatt
  • Ex-Strictly dancer Brendan Cole
  • Rugby player Ben Foden
  • Paralympic track and field athlete Stef Reid
  • Happy Mondays star Bez
  • Dancer (and son of Paul) Regan Gascoigne
  • Former S Club 7 singer Rachel Stevens
  • Olympic BMX rider Kye Whyte
  • TV presenter Ria Hebden
  • The Vamps band member Connor Ball
