In the video, she starts off by putting her hair into a hair tie. She then takes her hand and pokes it through the hair tie, then grabs her hair and flips it forward twice.
She then secures the hair she has flipped and twirled into the first loop she made with the hair tie with the other hand, before fluffing her hair into her desired messy bun look.

In the video, they start off with a perfectly tied high ponytail. They then take the hair tie and pull out a fair length of the ponytail before using the hair tie to tie another knot.
They then take the end part of the ponytail and wrap it around the other part of the ponytail to create a round bun.

Bun hack using two scrunchies
Valentia has shared her hack on how she achieves the perfect bun using two scrunchies.
She begins her tutorial by tying a high ponytail making use of both scrunchies. She then spreads her hair around the ponytail and scrunchies to ensure that they are fully covered, before using a black hair tie to tie the hair into place.
Shen then twists the rest of her hair, which is still in a ponytail, and then wraps it around her bun once she is done.
