CUET UG 2023 registrations date to be declared soon, says UGC Chairman – Times of India

NEW DELHI: The registration dates for the Common University Entrance Test for undergraduate courses, CUET UG 2023 will be announced soon, said UGC Chairman Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar.
Taking to his Twitter handle on Monday, the UGC chief announced, “The Registration and application process of Common University Entrance Test [CUET (UG) – 2023] for admission to Undergraduate Programmes into Central Universities and other Participating Universities will be announced in a couple of days.”

Once the CUET UG registration portal is activated, students will be able to apply through the official website on cuet.samarth.ac.in.
As per the official schedule, CUET UG 2023 will be held between May 21 and May 31, 2023. The entrance test will be conducted in Computer Based Test, CBT mode in English as well as 12 other Indian languages.
How to register for CUET UG 2023?
Step 1: Visit the official website at cuet.samarth.ac.in
Step 2: Register yourself by filling in details like full name, date of birth, email ID, etc
Step 3: Once registered, sign in with your application number and password
Step 4: Fill out the CUET 2023 application form.
Step 5: Now you will have to upload all the essential documents, as asked.
Step 6: Pay the exam fees online and submit.
Step 7: Download the form and take a printout of the payment receipt.
CUET Exam: Previous Year Stats
As many as 14.9 lakh candidates registered for CUET in 2022 and to accommodate all, 450 centres were needed on each day of the examination. Thus, this time UGC is preparing for 1000 exam centres, of which all may not be used but those will act as a standby in case it is required at any time. This will also help to avoid any type of glitches and other issues that were faced last year.
