The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to declare the Central Universities Entrance Test (CUET) UG and PG results by September 10 and 25, respectively. The result of CUET 2022 is expected to release online in the form of scorecard. Candidates can download their CUET 2022 scorecard from the official website – cuet.samarth.ac.in once it is released.
The CUET UG exam is being conducted in six phases. CUET 2022 started on 15th July. CUET UG Phase 6 Exam is still going on and will end on 30th August 2022. The CUET UG exam is being conducted at 489 exam centers located in 259 cities across India and 10 cities outside India. Around 15 lakh candidates are expected to appear for the CUET exam.
Dates of CUET UG and PG Result 2022
Media reports say, UGC Chairman M Jagadesh Kumar said that – “The result should be declared generally within 10 days of the date of final examination.” Earlier, a senior official of the NTA had confirmed that the CUET UG result will be released by September 7. “The number of subject papers for CUET-UG is huge. We will try to complete the evaluation and announce the results by 7th September. We are assuming our outer boundary on September 10, 2022” said the NTA official. 14,90,000 candidates have applied for the exam.
CUET Postponed Due To Technical Glitches
CUET was divided into two phases. However, the paper was postponed and canceled due to repeated technical glitches during the second phase (held from 4 to 6 August). The exam is now being conducted in six phases and will end on August 30.
Even on August 4, the second shift of the exam was canceled completely, forcing over 50,000 candidates across the country to return from centers without taking the exam as the NTA failed to upload the question papers on time. The technical fault was also reported on 5 to 6 August.
Registration Statistics for CUET UG 2022
According to government data, a total of 14.9 lakh students had registered for CUET-UG this year. Out of these 14.9 lakh candidates, a total of 2.49 lakh candidates appeared for CUET-UG in the first phase, 1.91 lakh in the second phase (4 to 6 August) and 7, 8 and 1.91 lakh in the third phase. August 10. For the fourth phase, 3.72 lakh candidates registered.
