Creepily realistic AI models threaten to take over OnlyFans
ONLYFANS models have been given a run for their money as digitally made women have gone viral.
Internet users have called out the flaws of these seemingly-perfect women, and they aren’t what you might think.
The popularity of photos boasting four scantily clad, look-alike women has some questioning whether they are real or fake, and wondering about the future of OnlyFans because of it.
This trick of the eye is, apart from obvious reasons, what made the photo take off.
One Twitter user reposted the photo and explained, “Apparently this picture and other (sic) are going viral on socials because women are seething and debating whether these girls are AI generated.”
They continued: “I am totally starting a fake AI generated Onlyfans for gullible idiots if I fail this trading thing.”
Though it probably goes without saying, comments from users prove the potential popularity of this sexual form of AI image creation.
“Image generation technologies like deep fakes/DALL-e will completely put OnlyFans out of business,” one said.
“I’d pay for images like this, even if I knew it’s not real.”
While the women appear conventionally attractive, there were those who did see their imperfection, especially when it comes to mistakes their possible-AI creator made.
A different photo from the same poster was of four well-endowed women, captioned: “It can also make Asians.”
In response to this photo, a Twitter user said, “spot AI by looking at the hands,” and provided a zoomed-in version of the photo with a hand that was a bit gnarled and blurry.
Another comment summed up their best guess about the mystery.
“My guess is that someone worked very hard in crafting it, but that it’s almost definitely AI generated, or AI-assisted-generated,” they said.
In turn, the OG poster brought attention back to the main issue at hand.
“The point is not to pixel peep to look for signs it’s fake or not. The point is they are already good enough to pass as real.”
