BHUBANESWAR: The higher education department on Wednesday announced the schedule of the Common PG Entrance Test (CPET-2023) for admission into PG courses in state public universities and autonomous colleges of Odisha.
The CPET-2023 will be held between June 23 and July 4. Common application form (CAF) will be available online from May 1 to May 10 on the website www.samsodisha.gov.in. The students will get a chance to edit their submitted CAF on May 11 and May 12.
This year, for the first time, the State Selection Board (SSB) will conduct the CPET. Applicants’ data will be submitted to SSB on May 16. Students can download hall tickets from the SSB website and SAMS website on June 9 (2pm) before appearing for the CPET.
“Candidates, whose final undergraduate (UG) results are awaited (not published) can also apply online to appear for the test. But they must upload their marks prior to preparation of ‘subject-wise and state-wide provisional rank’ within the dateline, failing which, their application will not be considered,” said Rajata Kumar Mansingh, deputy director of performance tracking cell (PTC), higher education department.
The SSB conducting CPET will handover the entrance marks to Odisha Computer Application Centre (OCAC) here on July 16. Applicants can upload graduation/equivalent marks between July 8 and July 15.
The department will notify the dates for publication of subject-wise and state-wide merit lists.
