A COUPLE have been hailed as ‘legends’ for obstructing the view of a speed camera van.
In the video, uploaded to Instagram on the Inside Motors channel, they can be seen with their boot lid up in a lay-by.

The video looks to be shot using a smartphone from inside a car, which is making its way along a B-road.
In the distance, you can make out a lay-by with a couple of cars parked up and a police speed camera van.

As the camera car gets closer, it becomes clear that a man and woman are sitting on the boot lip of a Ford Focus.
The raised boot lid is blocking the view of the speed camera van behind.
The person holding the smartphone in the car and the driver can be heard laughing at the situation.
You can just make out the couple grinning at the camera as the camera car makes its way past.
People in the comments on the Instagram post were all saying the same thing.
