Cook’s Club Kolymbia review
Rating: 4/5
The dining experience at Cook’s Club Kolymbia is certainly one to write home about.
If you don’t go for the stunning views, relaxing ambience and balmy climate, you’d go just to try the decadent Greek cuisine served at its central restaurant, Cantina. Priding themselves on delivering a “gastronomic journey”, the chefs do just that, with an abundance of options that cater for all dietary requirements.
Cantina serves a buffet-style breakfast of pastries, fruits, yoghurts and cereals, as well as hot breakfast foods. The next opening available is dinner serving an al a-carte menu of delectable dishes that are a mix of international and local cuisine.
But this is just one of three impressive restaurants the hotel has to offer. Street Food Asia and Cook’s Italian make up the final two, with options available for lunch and dinner.
The menu at Street Food Asia boasts a variety of creatively constructed sushi, as well as rice and noodle-based dishes and salads, while Cook’s Italian serves an array of fairly priced pasta dishes, risottos and pizzas, as well as meat-based mains.
The two poolside bars are a serious highlight, offering a tempting array of refreshing drinks and snacks, and providing the perfect spot to relax and socialise. The bartenders are truly experts at what they do, carefully crafting locally inspired cocktails with precision and flair.
A key theme to note here is the amiability of the staff, who deserve more than a shout-out for their energy, attentiveness and exceptional service throughout the course of our stay.
