Conor McGregor mocks Khabib’s UFC Hall of Fame induction as he predicts his own
CONOR MCGREGOR seemingly mocked Khabib Nurmagomedov after seeing his bitter rival’s induction to the Hall of Fame.
The retired lightweight was inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame along with good pal Daniel Cormier last weekend at International Fight Week in Las Vegas.
Nurmagomedov’s induction was warmly received by the MMA world, but not by McGregor – who renewed their rivalry with a cheeky tweet.
The Notorious posted a screengrab of a Proper 12 advert hovering over Nurmagomedov as he smiled on stage.
His accompanying caption read: “Proper Twelve, proud maker of the UFC HOF show! Call me The HOFF.”
Former two-division champion McGregor, 33, then began envisaging his own induction to the Hall of Fame.
But he was quick to insist he won’t be walking away from the sport anytime soon.
He said: “Looking forward to my own hall of fame entry all the same, I’m a shoe-in. First of everything.
“All the records. KO speed. Knockdown amount. KO’s most divisions. Financials. You name it.
“No rush tho I’m still in to bust noses open and put opps unconscious. A real goer.”

McGregor then called for the punch he landed on Nurmagomedov’s cousin Abubakar in the infamous UFC 229 brawl to be placed into the Hall of Fame.
Alongside a picture of himself hitting the welterweight, he wrote: “Bang of s***e all of them. Stick that in the hall of fame.”
McGregor is currently in the final stages of recovering from the horrific broken leg he suffered in his trilogy fight with Dustin Poirier last July.
The Irishman was seemingly on course for an autumn return to the octagon but has only just resumed kicking.
And UFC president Dana White believes the promotion’s poster boy will be back in action in December at the earliest.
When asked where McGregor’s next fight will take place, the MMA mogul told Jim Rome: “It’ll be in the cage.
“Conor is looking to come back at the end of this year, early next year.”
He added: “When I do talk to Conor, Conor wants to fight.
“Conor gets all kinds of offers for movie roles and all these other things that he can go and do and make money.
“He doesn’t want to do any of that. Conor wants to fight.”
