Confirmed team line-ups as Palace host Chelsea
PATRICK Vieira and Thomas Tuchel have named their sides for the Premier League fixture at Selhurst Park.
Palace boss Vieira is without Conor Gallagher as he is unable to play against his parent side.
The manager has recalled AFCON winner Cheikhou Kouyate to the starting eleven.
The full Palace line up: Guaita, Clyne, Andersen, Guehi Mitchel, McArthur, Kouyate, Schlupp, Olise, J Ayew and Zaha.
Vieira is hopeful Marc Guéhi can continue his good form.
“What I am sure about is Marc has the potential,” Vieira said when quizzed on the possibility of a senior call-up for the Young Lions skipper.
“Now it is about maintaining these kind of performances, to improve and to keep improving and then there is a manager (Gareth Southgate) who will make his decision.
“When his name is being mentioned, that’s a good start but it’s about what he will do in the next couple of weeks, next couple of months and next couple of years that will dictate if he has the level to go international or not. The potential is there.”
Chelsea’s line up: Mendy, Christensen, Thiago Silva, Rüdiger, Ziyech, Kanté, Jorginho, Sarr, Havertz, Lukaku and Pulisic.
