Colorado Starbucks coffee shops testing BYO cups through June

Starbucks locations in Colorado are going BYOC – as in “bring your own cup.”

The coffee company is currently running a pilot program at 192 locations in the Centennial State where customers can bring their own personal cups that baristas will use to fill their orders.

Historically, Starbucks has allowed customers to bring reusable cups with the company’s branding to be filled, but during this test period, it will allow any cup or mug. All you have to do is tell your barista at the counter or in the drive-thru that you brought your own and you save 10 cents on your order. Rewards members receive an additional 25 bonus stars.
