Club know ‘it’s almost impossible to keep’ Manchester United target this summer
Atalanta ‘know it’s almost impossible to keep’ Rasmus Hojlund this summer amid interest from Manchester United, but will hold out for over £50m, according to reports.

As a move for Harry Kane appears extremely unlikely for the Red Devils, they have turned their attention to the Denmark international.
The 20-year-old has only been in Serie A for one season, joining Atalanta from Sturm Graz last year, but he made a good impression in Italy, scoring 10 goals in all competitions.
They are not mind-blowing figures, but United manager Erik ten Hag is certainly a fan and wants to bring him to Old Trafford.
Transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio says Atalanta know that they will almost certainly not be able to keep hold of the Denmark international, but want at least £51m for him.
‘Rasmus Hojlund has the same agent as Erik ten Hag and he has been talking to the player for a long time,’ Di Marzio told wettfreunde.net. ‘The player would like to join Manchester United but Atalanta haven’t received any official offer for the player yet.
‘The agent has informed Atalanta that Manchester United want the player. Atalanta will sell the player if they get a good offer but they want at least €60m (£51m).
‘I think it’s probably because Atalanta know it’s almost impossible to keep the player but they want the right offer.’
Recent reports suggested that currently suspended Manchester United striker Mason Greenwood could be offered to Atalanta on loan as a makeweight in a Hojlund deal.
Di Marzio reports that Atalanta have denied interest in the Englishman, but he would have no shortage of suitors if available, including in England.
‘If Hojlund joins Manchester United, they might have to find a new solution for Greenwood, but it won’t be a problem for Greenwood because he’s a player that interests many teams,’ continued Di Marzio.
‘Atalanta have denied that Greenwood would be part of a swap with me for Hojlund, but I think Manchester United will find a solution for Greenwood. Even in the Premier League.’
