Clever trick to take down Pokémon SV Inteleon raids fast
THE current seven-star raid in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet will feature an Ice-type Inteleon.
Inteleon is a generation eight starter Pokémon, and the second to appear after Cinderace.
It has powerful Water-type attacks, and will be a popular raid target.
Here’s everything we know and the best counters for the upcoming Inteleon raid in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
Pokémon SV: Inteleon raid
The Inteleon raids will take place over two weekends. Firstly, from Friday, April 28, 2023, until Sunday, April 30, 2023.
It will appear again from Friday, May 5, 2023, until Sunday, May 7, 2023.
As an Ice-type, Inteleon has Snowscape to boost its Defense by 50%, along with Blizzard, which is accurate in the snow.
It will also set up Mist immediately, meaning that you can drop its stats until after the barrier breaks.
Tearful Look will reduce you Pokémon’s defenses, so you’ll want a Pokémon that resists its attacks.
It rounds out the set with Snipe Shot which is Inteleon’s Water-type signature move.
Here’s the set we predict:
The Mightiest Inteleon – Level 100
- Nature – Quiet
- Ability – Sniper
- Item – None
- Tera type – Ice
- Moveset – Snowscape, Mist, Blizzard, Snipe Shot, Dark Pulse, Tearful Look
Pokémon SV: Inteleon Counters
With Water-, Ice- and Dark-type moves, safe counters to Inteleon are Steel- and Fighting-types.
While Inteleon will have a high defense with Snowscape, these Pokémon tend to be physical attackers.
Pokémon that resist stat drops or have great resistances and special defense are good choices.
Here’s some counters you can try.
Tinkaton
Tinkaton is one of the best supportive Pokémon in the game, with a great defensive typing, and good supportive moves.
Mold Breaker will reduce the damage done by Inteleon’s Critical Hits, and Light Screen and Thunder Wave will keep Tinkaton healthy.
Helping Hand can help out if you fight in a team, while Gigaton Hammer and Swords Dance will provide the offensive pressure you need.
Here’s our recommended set.
Tinkaton – Level 100
- Nature – Careful
- Ability – Mold Breaker
- Item – Shell Bell
- Tera type – Steel
- Potential moveset – Gigaton Hammer, Light Screen, Thunder Wave, Helping Hand/Swords Dance
Corviknight
Corviknight is another great supportive Steel type, with moves like Light Screen to help out the team.
Sunny Day will overwrite the snow, removing the defense boost, lowering the damage of Snipe Shot, and taking away Blizzard’s accuracy.
As Inteleon is a Special Attacker, Swagger will up the Attack meaning that when it hits itself in confusion it takes big damage.
Iron Head completes the set by giving it an Attack to use, and Mirror Armor will prevent drops from Tearful Look.
Here’s what we recommend.
Corviknight – Level 100
- Nature – Careful
- Ability – Mirror Armor
- Item – Shell Bell
- Tera type – Steel
- Potential moveset – Light Screen, Swagger, Iron Head, Sunny Day
Perrserker
Another amazing supportive Steel type, it can keep its Special Defense high with Amnesia.
It can also boost its Attack for offensive pressure with Swords Dance.
Helping Hand will help out in a team, and Iron Head will give it the offense in solos. Sunny Day is another option here.
It also has Battle Armor which prevents the increased damage of Critical Hits from Sniper.
Here’s the set we recommend.
Perrserker – Level 100
- Nature – Careful
- Ability – Battle Armor
- Item – Shell Bell
- Tera type – Steel
- Potential moveset – Iron Head, Amnesia, Swords Dance, Helping Hand/ Sunny Day
Crabominable
As an Ice type, Crabominable will be able to boost its Defense when Inteleon uses Snowscape.
With Anger Point, if Inteleon lands a critical hit, its Attack will also be maximised.
Substitute will keep it safe while also dropping HP for a powerful Reversal.
Here’s the set we recommend.
Crabominable – Level 100
- Nature – Careful
- Ability – Anger Point
- Item – Shell Bell
- Tera type – Ice
- Potential moveset – Amnesia, Bulk Up, Substitute, Reversal, Close Combat
