A TECH-savvy travel enthusiast has created a clever tool to help people find discounts on flights.
Finding discount codes online is one way to save cash, but can be very time consuming.

However, people are starting to learn more about a widget called Travel Arrow, which some say has already saved them a lot on their holidays.
The tool works by searching for any hidden deals or discount codes that travellers may not be aware of.
It also runs Google Flights searches through other price comparison sites like Kayak, Skyscanner, and others.
The widget runs in the background to while people are searching for flights or hotels.
Creator of the tool Jaideep Patil (@traveltipswithjay) showed how the tool works in a video on Tiktok.
The footage showed him searching for flights with Travel Arrow showing him which deals were available on his search.
People commented on the video saying they had already used it to save money on their flights too.
One wrote: “This saved me so much on my Thailand trip.”
Another said: “Exactly what I needed.
A third added: “Super clever way to minimize your travel costs!”
There are other ways online to find cheap flights, as long as you’re more flexible about where you’re going.
Tiktoker @ndainternet said that he books through Google Flights, but when it comes to searching for a destination, he doesn’t select one.
He said: “Don’t put in a destination. Simply search on Google Flights and then don’t put anything in the destination tab and then simply click the map.”
By doing this, Google Flights will show you the cheapest airfares for several different destinations, allowing you to pick the cheapest one for a holiday.
Other people claim that different tips can work when booking flights online.
Tiktok user Yan, or kingcredit, claims that people should book between Tuesday at 12am until Wednesday at 11pm.
He also says that it’s best to use incognito mode when booking flights, to keep prices down.
