Christine and Paddy McGuinness have reunited 10 months since their sudden split last year to celebrate their children in a packed weekend of festivities.
On Instagram today, the pair subtly hinted at their reunion as they both shared snaps from their twins’ birthday party as Leo and Penelope turned 10.
The 35-year-old model posed as she held an adorable Pokemon-themed cake in front of two balloons with the twins’ names written on them.
Minutes later, Paddy shared his own snap holding the cake with Christine’s arm keeping the balloons still behind him.
The 49-year-old Top Gear presenter wrote to his two million followers: “The memories of rocking my twin babies to sleep, one on each arm, is still vivid in my mind. They’re now 10 years old!!! My heart aches with love but my arms ache even more!
“Happy 10th birthday Leo and Penelope. I love you. Daddy xxx”
In a slightly longer message, Christine shared the same sentiments as he former husband writing: “Celebrating my twinnies 10th birthday, double figures, double love.
“Leo and Penelope you changed my world for the better, I’m so proud of you both, feeling extremely grateful I get to be your mummy and you are my babies forever.
“If there was ever a day I wanted to share a picture of them it’s today! But when they’re old enough they can decide for themselves.
“I can tell you they’re getting so tall, their smiles are just gorgeous and they have the most beautiful brown eyes I’ve ever seen.”
The former Real Housewives of Cheshire star was also seen testing out the jumping castles they had set up in the back garden for the twins’ party, with a mile-wide grin on her face as she tumbled out of the slide.
The former couple shocked fans in September last year when they announced they were separating after 11 years of marriage.
Although Christine and Paddy haven’t been seen together in public since their split, they assured fans that they would “always be a loving family” and would still be living “in our family home together”.
