Chris Hemsworth fans rejoice as Thor himself is finally on TikTok.
The 38-year-old is gearing up for the very eagerly-anticipated release of Thor: Love and Thunder, which is landing in cinemas next week.
Ahead of the latest Marvel launch, he decided to swing by the social media platform to finally bless us all with his first ever TikTok.
What did he choose for his debut on the site? A very brief video montage made up of the promo trail so far, of course.
‘Sydney fans! LA fans! Love you guys! #ThorLoveAndThunder opens Wed in Aus and Fri in the US,’ he wrote beside the upload, before directing fans to book their tickets.
He added: ‘Oh and hi TikTok……!’
The clip has racked up nearly 30,000 likes at the time of writing, and Chris already boasts almost 600,000 followers on the platform, which is not too shabby.
Unsurprisingly, fans were thrilled that the Hollywood icon had joined TikTok and flooded the comments section below with praise.
‘About damn time, God of thunder on Tik Tok [sic],’ one cheered.
‘EVERYBODY WAKE UP CHRIS HEMSWORTH JUST POSTED HIS FIRST TIKTOK,’ another yelled.
‘CHRIS JUST POSED WHOELSE SCREAMED,’ a follower agreed.
As a social media user simply added: ‘I cannot wait for this movie’.
Thor: Love and Thunder will be hitting the big screen around the world very shortly, and also stars Tessa Thompson, Russell Crowe, Chris Pratt and Natalie Portman – with Taika Waititi back at the helm.
Chris has been playing the action hero for around a decade, but there is one scene in the upcoming sequel that was his ‘dream’ to film.
In fact, he stripped off in front of the camera – and explained that it was a moment years in the making.
‘It was 10 years in the making that scene — kind of a dream of mine,’ Chris said on the red carpet at the red carpet premiere.
‘The first time I played Thor I took my shirt off and I thought, “You know what’s gonna sweeten this… a decade from now it’s all gonna come off”.’
Who knew Chris was a psychic?
Thor: Love And Thunder hits cinemas in the UK on July 8.
