Cheltenham Festival LIVE: Fans try to emulate £100k win on day two

Constitution Hill and Honeysuckle stole the show on day one of the Cheltenham Festival, and day two’s races are expected to be equally as enthralling. One lucky punter managed to land the £100,000 jackpot on the ITV7 competition on Tuesday, and racing fans will be hoping to replicate that feat on day two.

The action, again, gets underway at 1.30pm with the Ballymore Novices’ Hurdle, with Paul Nicholls hoping that he can get on the board with Hermes Allen – who he describes as one of his best chances of the week. However, the Challow winner has drifted in the market over the past few weeks, with support pouring in for now-favourite Impaire Et Passe.

The Brown Advisory is then up next, with the unbeaten Gerri Colombe heading the market and likely to benefit from the step up in trip to three miles. He will have to improve further to retain his pristine record though, with Sir Gerhard and Thyme Hill amongst those waiting to pounce on any errors that he makes.

The feature race comes at 3.30pm with The Queen Mother Champion Chase, with the Glenfarcas Chase and Champion Bumper rounding off a sensational card – with two competitive handicaps scattered into play for good measure.
