Ceramics stocks likely to continue outperformance

While shares of Pokarna more than tripled in the last two years, Somany Ceramics and Kajaria Ceramics have more than doubled. Cera Sanitaryware rose 88% in two years. The Nifty jumped 44% during this period. In 2020, India became the world’s second-biggest ceramics exporter after China, surpassing Spain. India exported 445 million square meters of ceramic tiles to 170 countries globally.
Mumbai: Ceramic stocks have outperformed in the last two years with returns even tripling for investors as the Indian ceramic industry is emerging as a global leader, getting the second position in exports.
