CBSE Class 10 Maths Exam Analysis: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) today successfully conducted the Class 10th Mathematics paper across India and abroad. The exam is conducted from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm. Today, at several examination centres, the exam was delayed slightly due to the late arrival of question papers. However, as per the reports so far, the exam was conducted smoothly without reporting any untoward incidents.
As far as the exam difficulty level was concerned, it was a moderate and well-balanced paper. The majority of the students find it easy to slightly difficult. Let’s check what students and teachers have to say about the Class X Math
The comments from both the students and teachers suggest that the CBSE Maths Class 10 paper was moderately difficult, with a good mix of easy, moderate, and challenging questions. While some students found the paper easy, others struggled with the questions that required a deeper understanding of the concepts and a lot of calculations. However, the general consensus was that the students were well-prepared for the exam and put in a lot of effort to perform their best.
The teachers found the paper to be a fair representation of the syllabus, and they were optimistic about their students’ performances. Overall, the feedback indicates that the exam was challenging enough to test the students’ knowledge, while not being overly difficult.
Students’ Reactions
“I found the CBSE Maths Class 10 paper to be challenging, but not too difficult. There were a few tricky questions that required a lot of calculations, but overall I feel like I did pretty well. I’m glad that I prepared thoroughly for this exam, and I’m hoping to score good marks,” said Parth, a student of Pt. Yadram Secondary Public School, Bhajanpurs.
According to Honey, a student of Arwachin Bharti Bhawan Sr. Sec. School, Delhi, “I struggled a bit with the CBSE Maths Class 10 paper. The questions were quite tricky and required a lot of thinking. I was able to solve most of them, but there were a few that I couldn’t figure out. Overall, I’m happy with my performance, but I’m not sure how well I’ll do in the exam.”
Harcourt Butler Senior Secondary School’s Manshi said, “I found the CBSE Maths Class 10 paper to be quite easy. Most of the questions were straightforward, and I was able to solve them quickly. There were a few challenging ones, but I managed to figure them out with some effort. Overall, I’m pretty confident that I’ll score good marks in this exam.”
The CBSE Mathematics Basic/Standard (241/041)10 exam paper according to Hemant Sharma, a grade X student of Vidya Bharati School, C Block, Surya Nagar, Gzb was an average paper.
“The questions ranged between simple to a little tricky but were mostly direct and simple,” said Hemant Sharma.
Tanmay Raheja, another student of VBS reviewed the paper as an average paper and added that MCQ-based questions took most of his time.
However, Ishika Mittal of the same school reviewed it as a paper that required a thorough understanding of the concept but all the same commented that the questions were easy but the MCQ part was a bit tricky.
Teachers’ Reactions
“Today’s class 10 CBSE Mathematics exam paper was catering to the need of all sections of the students. Some tricky questions and competency-based questions made the students apply the acquired knowledge. The paper was well-balanced and planned in such a way that those who have followed NCERT will be able to perform well. The children need to stay focused while attempting such a paper. The utilisation of 15 min reading time is of utmost importance so that the children get the time to revise the answer scripts. Students came happily out of the exam centre,” Sadhvi Parashar, TGT Mathematics, DPS Raj Nagar Extension.
Senior Maths teacher Mr Rajneesh Garg and Jitendra Tiwari (TGT Mathematics) commented paper was an average paper which demanded knowledge and mind application both.
