CBSE 2023 Board Exams: CBSE releases subject wise marks breakup for 10th, 12th students – Times of India
NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the subject wise marks breakup for classes 10 and 12. Students and teachers can refer to this notification to understand the formulation used by CBSE to allocate marks for theory, practical, project and internal assessment.
According to the education board, CBSE 2023 practical examinations for classes 10th and 12th will begin on January 01, 2022. Similarly, the board’s annual theory examination is scheduled to begin on February 15, 2023.
“It has been observed that schools are committing mistakes while uploading the marks in respect of practical/project/internal assessments. To aid and assist the schools on smooth conduct of practical/project/internal assessment and conduct of theory examinations, a list of subjects for classes X and XII containing details are provided,” reads the official CBSE notice. Step 1. Visit the official CBSE website at cbse.gov.in
Step 2. On the homepage, click on ‘Main Website’ tab
Step 3. A new page will open, click on the link that reads, “Subject Marks Breakup and Practical details 09/12/2022”
Step 4. A pdf of the marks breakup will appear on the screen
Step 5. Download and keep a copy of the same for further reference

Candidates may note that the CBSE is soon expected to announce the date sheet for board exams 2023. However, the board has announced the dates for practical examination on December 09, 2022.
