Cars collide on empty roundabout – but viewers are divided on who’s to blame

A VIDEO revealing the moment two cars smash into each other on an empty roundabout has gone viral on social media – and people are divided on who’s actually to blame.

The TikTok clip shows a car with a dash cam attempting to leave the roundabout at a slip-road junction, but instead he ploughs straight on into a passing luxury Jaguar saloon.

The video footage opens with the dash cam showing the poster’s car waiting to enter the roundabout.

It’s an everyday scene, although there’s not much traffic with just a few cars moving across in front.

Just as the last car clears in front of the dash cam motor, a silver Jaguar speeds past in the outside lane of the roundabout.

At this point, the road is completely clear and the dashcammer shoots off pretty quickly – moving into the inside lane.

But, instead of following the lane around, he appears to aim straight for the Jaguar in the outer lane.

Just as the Jag is passing one of the exits, the poster’s car slams into the side of the pricey  motor and, although you can’t see any damage, it looks like a big collision.

However, the dash cam driver is still able to steer his car onto the hard shoulder of the slip road exit, before the video ends.

Viewers were left divided on who actually caused the crash.

One said: “It looks like cam driver deliberately drove into side of Jag to prove a point, he could have easily stopped.”

Another replied: “You can literally not tell me that was jags fault… cam should yield for outer ring.”

While a further viewer responded with: “Jag in the wrong. outside lane on a dual turn roundabout means he must take that 3rd exit not a U-Turn which would place him inside lane.”
