I’m A Celebrity South Africa star Carol Vorderman’s love of the gym is renowned – and her latest workout update has left fans hot under the collar.
The star took to Instagram to let her 391,000 followers know that she had fit in an impressive five workout sessions this week.
Looking sultry and sweaty with her hair falling about her face, she posed in a grey figure-hugging crop top and black spandex gym leggings with a lace up detail on the front from Pour Moi.
The crop top highlighted her impressive, toned abs and she also posted pictures doing weights and pictures and video of other elements of her workout.
In a post workout clip an ecstatic looking, make up free Carol, now wearing a black top over her workout gear addressed the camera.
“So five gym sessions this week makes me a happy girl,” she gushes.
“Eating grand. Lots of water, healthy lots of walking, happy, happy, happy, happy. Happy to be home.”
This echoed her caption on the post which said: “Five gym sessions this week. Just so good to get the routine going again.”
Her efforts even impressed her Bristol based trainer @coachingbychar, who was tagged in the post and who waded in to comment.
“5 for 5, each day was a level up! Getting after it again you got this.” (sic) she included the clapping, flame and muscle emojis in her comment.
A follower called @sarahclarebyrne was clearly feeling inspired by Carol.
“You look amazing,” she wrote. I have finished work for the Summeet, so have been doing loads of gym sessions, swimming, walking and journaling plus lots of DIY home spas.”
@mckaerty commented: Ffs Carol!!! You are putting me to shame.” Meanwhile @shields_sharon chimed in: “Killing it. An inspiration.”
It’s been a busy week for Carol, who also announced that she has a new book out on September 14. Perfect 10 Quiz Book is based on her podcast of the same name, and she describes it as a “personal trainer for your brain”.
The tome is a mix of 400 questions based on the brainteasers that feature on the show.
