Camilla gifted £2,500 personalised charm to Kate Middleton on wedding day
Back in 2011, the Duchess of Cornwall gifted her daughter-in-law Kate Middleton a personalised gold bracelet. The bracelet was a wedding gift to celebrate Kate and William marrying at Westminster Abbey on April 29. This piece of jewellery had a rather sentimental backstory behind it and was a lovely welcoming gift into the Royal Family.
The chain-link bracelet features one single charm with engravings on either side.
At the time, eagle-eyed royal watchers noticed the coin had two ‘C’s.
Each side of the little disc features a monogram, both Kate’s and Camilla’s.
On one side is the letter ‘C’ for Catherine, Kate’s given name, with a coronet and on the other is a ‘C’ for Camilla with a crown.

The interlocking letters are a symbol of Kate and Camilla’s friendship, and the two are said to be very close.
The royal pair have often been spotted having a laugh together at official events.
At the time, Clarence House confirmed the item was “a personal wedding gift” to Kate.
Kate has only been seen wearing the bracelet in public a handful of times, including once at Wimbledon in 2011.

That same year, the Duchess wore it to visit the military’s Victoria Barracks.
She wore it again during the Santa Barbara Polo Match as part of her official royal tour to California with the Duke of Cambridge.
The bracelet appears to be of great sentimental value to Kate, who reportedly went for a girls’ lunch with the Duchess of Cornwall, her daughter Laura Lopes, and sister Pippa Middleton days before the royal wedding at Koffman’s in the Berkeley Hotel.
With its chunky gold chain and circular charm, the bracelet is a timeless classic that would look on-trend today if the Duchess of Cambridge decided to wear it once again.
Experts at ‘Find Me A Gift’ have valued the sentimental gift, and estimate it cost Camilla £2,500.
It is unknown if Camilla gifted Meghan Markle a similar charm for her wedding in 2018 to Prince Harry.
Kate’s bracelet makes up part of her fabulous jewellery collection, which features a number of other sentimental items.
The most notable is her stunning sapphire engagement ring, which previously belonged to William’s mother, Princess Diana.
The Duchess also has a beautiful white gold diamond-studded eternity ring, that sits alongside her engagement ring and Welsh gold wedding band.
This delicate piece also has a sweet story behind it, as it was gifted to her by her husband following the birth of Prince George.
Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall was touring the Isle of Skye in Scotland on Thursday with her husband Prince Charles.
She wore a fabulous diamond and sapphire brooch along with her tartan outfit as she met local business owners with Prince Charles.
Kate also returned to royal duties on Wednesday after taking a long summer break, and wore a £1,000 outfit to RAF Brize Norton.
