Opening in Skegness in Easter 2023, the park will be free for any guests to use who are staying at Butlin’s.

The six zones are based on “positive play emotions” called Joy, Calm, Excitement, Happiness, Surprise, and Curiosity.

The Joy section will be for under 5s, while Excitement, Happiness and Surprise is catered for 6-12-year-olds.

Calm and Curious will be for all ages, as will the Heart Line, which is a playground for kids to enter the park through.

In the middle will be the 45ft Tower of Excitement which has panoramic sea views and an illuminated 32ft slide.

It will also have the UK’s longest seesaw, measuring 78ft long with it lighting up the more people use it.

Other experiences include sensory games and equipment, as well as wheelchair-accessible rides such as trampolines and roundabouts.

Adults can relax at the new cafe and outdoor terrace at the park which will serve drinks and snacks.

Simon Cope, Commercial and Marketing Director at Butlin’s, said: “Our new SKYPARK is going to be incredible! It’s a fantastic addition to our Skegness resort and has been purpose-built with inclusion in mind.

“SKYPARK will be free to access along with all our amazing live shows, free flow entry to our Splash Waterworld pool and unlimited fairground rides.”
