The travel expert team at Bounce looked at Europe’s best destinations for a budget beach holiday. A beautiful destination in Turkey is one of this year’s best-value beach hotspots.
Turkey is one of the UK’s top holiday destinations and is particularly beautiful during the summer months.
According to Bounce’s research, Bodrum is the best value holiday destination in Turkey for Brits looking to save this summer.
The team found that a meal at a cheap restaurant in the beach resort was just £4 on average, a whopping £6 cheaper than in Benidorm.
The average price of a beer in Bodrum came in at just £2, making a night out in the Turkish hotspot very affordable.

Bodrum’s top-rated tourist attraction on Tripadvisor is the Castle of St.Peter, which was built by the Knights of St John in the early 15th century.
A tourist ‘Baran’ wrote: “It’s a fantastic piece of history. Going back to thousands of years ago. Plenty to see and learn and experience.”
‘Emily S’ wrote: “Beautiful way to spend a few hours.The castle has a lot of history including the archaeology aspects.”
The Museum of Underwater Archaeology is also highly-rated while tourists also recommend visiting the Zeki Muren Arts Museum.
Bodrum’s best-rated beach is Bitez Beach which a tourist described as a “beautiful beach” with a “calm and relaxing” vibe.
Tourists can also explore the ancient ruins at Bodrum Amphitheatre which overlooks the city and was once used as a stage.
Britons should sample the local delicacy, ot kavurmasi, while in Bodrum. The boiled pastry and stuffed pumpkin flowers are famous in the region.
Fish is also extremely popular with many local restaurants offering freshly caught fish for reasonable prices.
