BSF organizes ‘Bharat Darshan’ tour for school children of Poonch-Rajouri – Times of India

Jammu, Oct 16: The Border Security Force (BSF) Jammu Frontiers has organized a nine day long ‘Bharat Darshan’ tour for children hailing from twin districts Poonch- Rajouri of Jammu region.
PRO BSF Jammu said, “Deputy Inspector General (DIG) BSF Rajouri D S Sindhu flagged off nine days ‘Bharat Darshan’ tour of children hailing from remote border areas of Poonch and Rajouri region.
“35 children ( 20 boys and 15 girls) will get an opportunity to visit various prominent monuments in Jaipur, Rajasthan.
BSF official said, “While interacting with children, DIG BSF Rajouri said that this tour will not only give them an opportunity to enhance their knowledge but also will help them to better understand Indian culture, customs and traditions.
He further said that besides guarding the LoC, BSF is also playing an active role in promoting National Integration by organising Bharat Darshan tours for the students of remote areas.
Inspector General BSF Jammu Frontier D K Boora also has greeted the children on this occasion and added that this is one part of a series of other such programs where BSF is committed to work towards integrating the country and expose the border population to witness other part of the country.
