Britney Spears has a new puppy and it might just be the cutest thing ever

The Toxic singer, 40, recently added a new member to her family: a puppy named Sawyer.

Britney said the pup, a white and gold Australian shepherd with bright blue eyes, makes her ‘heart melt’ and is the second love of her life – after fiance Sam Asghari, 27.

The star took to Instagram on Tuesday where she shared a sweet video of gorgeous Sawyer, and asked her 39 million followers: ‘Geez…can you have two loves of your lives because he comes in second’.

Gushing over the new family member, Britney revealed she talks to him all the time, and while ‘he doesn’t talk back… it’s like he understands what I’m saying.’

She added: ‘I think he understands me especially with those eyes. He makes my heart melt. He needs me and I like that.’

Britney said she found Sawyer while on holiday in Maui, calling it a ‘dream’, and said she ‘took him home with me immediately’.

In the video showing off the pup, Britney can be seen dancing in her home with Sawyer making a brief appearance at her feet.

Britney wrote: ‘Here’s my dancing with my baby and he definitely has me FEELING LOVE ???? (sic)’.

The Circus star also revealed that she has a new cat who ‘looks like a miniature cheetah’, and promised fans she would introduce her soon.

‘My cat is French and very peculiar,’ Britney wrote on the post. ‘She looks at food as if she is 30 for two min before she eats it … she’s extremely smart (sic)’.

Britney joked that she has ‘a house FULL of small animals and I like it besides the potty training”.

The star and her fiance Sam jetted off to Hawaii earlier this month, as Britney makes the most out of life free from under the conservatorship.

Sam and Britney, who first met in 2016, got engaged in September last year.
