Bretman Rock, Maricel Soriano, Anne Curtis, Gloria Diaz revealed as ‘Drag Race PH’ season 2 guest judges

“Drag Race Philippines” revealed that its second season will have Filipino-American internet star Bretman Rock, Maricel Soriano, Anne Curtis and Gloria Diaz as among the guest judges.

The celebrities’ special appearance was announced in the reality drag competition’s “supertrailer” released on its Twitter page on Friday, July 28. Other guest judges include Thai drag queen Pangina Heals, Tessa Prieto, Kim Molina, as well as Almira and Mylene Cercado of 4th Impact.

The trailer opens with host Paolo Ballesteros at the show’s main stage, followed by a peek at each of the competing drag queens at the werk room. The two-minute clip also shows “RuPaul’s Drag Race” alum Jiggly Caliente, actress-broadcaster KaladKaren, Jon Santos, Rajo Laurel and BJ Pascual in the judges’ panel.

The 12 competing queens for the show’s second season are Arizona Brandy, Astrid Mercury, Bernie, Captivating Katkat, DeeDee Marié Holliday, Hana Beshie, Matilduh, M1ss Jade So, Nicole Pardaux, ØV C–T, Tiny Deluxe and Veruschka Levels.

The second season of “Drag Race Philippines,” which is based on Emmy-winning “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” will premiere on Aug. 2. The reality drag competition crowned Precious Paula Nicole as the first-ever drag race superstar in October last year.  /ra
