Brahmastra: Ranbir Kapoor says that Nagarjuna has become a part of his and Alia Bhatt’s lives

Brahmastra, one of the most anticipated films of the year, has assembled quite the star cast. The Ayan Mukerji directorial features Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna Akkineni, Mouni Roy and (allegedly) Shah Rukh Khan in a special appearance. The film has been in development for a while now and over the years, the ensemble cast members have expectedly developed a bond with each other. Ranbir Kapoor has now opened up about his experience working with South superstar Nagarjuna.

In a recent interview with a leading news portal, Ranbir Kapoor said that Nagarjuna became friends with him, Alia Bhatt and Ayan Mukerji and spent time hanging out with them. “He helped us so much with this film. His entire family has become such a big part of our lives and we are so privileged,” he revealed.

Ranbir also shared that Nagarjuna who plays the role of artist Anish in the film was very involved in the filming process. The star was also the first to take a look at the final cut of sequences filmed in Bulgaria and his positive reaction gave their confidence a boost.

After weeks of teasing, the first full-length trailer of Brahmastra Part One: Shiva arrive yesterday. The clip opened to rave reactions for its stunning display of visual effects and the epic scale of the narrative. The upcoming film is the first instalment of Ayan Mukerji’s Astraverse which is inspired by Indian mythology.

Brahmastra Part One: Shiva arrives in cinemas on September 9 this year.
