Brad Pitt’s beach home faces ‘threat to life’ evacuation warning over California wildfire

Hollywood actor Brad Pitt’s Californian home is under threat from a nearby wildfire, according to reports. The star’s West-Coast Santa Barbara home is close to the ongoing Alisal wildfire, which is raging through the area.

The Troy actor, 57, purchased the mansion 21 years ago, but the wildfire has meant that the property is now at risk after it was included in the evacuation warning zone.

Brad’s 11.5 acre property sits right on the California coastline and boasts seafront views.

The wildfire has burned more than 15,000 acres in the Santa Ynez mountains and threatened over 100 rural homes.

The fire started on Monday and when the flames quickly spread towards the ocean, the Amtrak lines and the 101 highway were both closed off.

Express.co.uk has contacted a representative for Brad for comment.

An insider claims that the Fight Club actor and his ex-wife Jennifer Aniston spent a lot of time at the luxury property before their split in 2019.

Despite his second wife Angelina Jolie reportedly not liking the seafront mansion, Brad reportedly refused to sell it.

“He enjoys letting friends and family stay there even if he doesn’t have a lot of time in his schedule to get up there as often as he’d like,” they told The Sun.

Rancho del Cielo, former president Ronald Reagan’s home, was also being protected by fire crews.

The star also boasts a modern complex in Hollywood Hills, which he had a hand in designing.

However, arguably the most impressive property that he and his former wife own is Chateau Miraval in France, which they reportedly ended up sharing following their divorce.

The pair married in the property’s chapel in 2014 after purchasing it three years earlier.

The property in the Var region of France has its own helicopter pad, private lake, moat and recording studio, which has reportedly been used by bands such as Pink Floyd.

Brad and Angelina married in August 2014, before parting ways in 2016, with the Salt actress citing “irreconcilable differences”.

They first met when filming Mr and Mrs Smith in 2004, while the star was still married to Jennifer Aniston.

The former couple only started dating after Brad and Jennifer split at the start of 2005, but Angelina revealed that they fell in love on set.

Following their divorce in 2019, the couple now share joint custody of their six children.
