Body language expert claims to spot Camilla’s ‘frosty’ moments

Queen Camilla is rarely spotted without a grin on her face, and she is known for her friendliness when chatting with non-royals when out and about.

However, even the Queen has her moments – nobody can be in the best mood all the time, after all.

Body language expert Judi James spoke exclusively to Express.co.uk about some moments Camilla looked less than happy in the presence of other royals.

However, she emphasised that these moments are very rare, with the royal typically upholding very welcoming body language.

Judi told Express.co.uk: “It’s taken Camilla so long to try to win the public round after the death of Diana that she’s unlikely to look anything other than sweet, kind, friendly and compliant at royal events.

Judi said: “In 2019 there was another unhappy look from Camilla, who appeared frozen out of the conversation between Kate and Letizia of Spain.”

Judi claimed: “While the two younger royals seemed to get on like a house on fire, Camilla was seen lurking in the background with no one to talk to.”

But according to the expert, this isn’t the only time Camilla looked “unhappy” around Kate.

Observing another potential bad mood moment, Judi claimed that Camilla shot a “glare” at Kate during an important royal event.

She claimed that “Camilla and Kate were photographed exchanging this terse look on the balcony on Remembrance Day.

“Of course it would have been inappropriate to smile and chat happily on such a poignant occasion but Kate’s lips did appear pursed as Camilla threw her this less-than-friendly glare.”
